Account Coordinator

Account coordinator is an entry-level job in the account services department and reports directly to the VP of Account Services.

The account coordinator provides administrative and customer service support to the VP of Account Services and President in day-to-day administration; serves all staff members in the agency by overseeing established production processes to execute marketing plans and manage client needs.

Supporting the management team, the account coordinator works with the VP of Account Services for scheduling, producing and delivering on time all the projects that the agency's creative department creates. Duties include supervising in-house personnel and working with many outside vendors. The Account Coordinator works directly with account executives/account services, creative staff, accounting staff, clients and vendors from creative project planning through final product delivery and project billing and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management and Implementation. Provides project schedules and publishes for distribution to all departments. Responsible for conducting weekly production meeting, publishing weekly production schedules and a daily update report with current project status to meet client needs.

  • Assist in the execution of client related projects; such as any research related items for team members, procuring vendor quotes, verifying production specs, and creating and providing feedback on project timelines.
  • Assist in execution of clients marketing plan—assisting in managing the implementation of projects with reoccurring deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of assigned clients strategic marketing communication plan; including research, media planning, and budget development.
  • Preparing account service-related documents such as meeting agendas, monthly ROI reports, proposals and other client communications and correspondence.
  • Lead project management and execution of agency related projects; such as email marketing, blogging, research, as determined by the internal marketing team.
  • Maintain a working-level understanding of assigned client’s industries, company culture, products/services.

Selection Criteria

  • Degree in marketing, communications or business
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be highly organized, proactive and detail oriented with a track record of developing and executing projects on-time
  • A strong client-service orientation with the ability to build positive and highly collaborative relationships
  • Strong communication skills: must be a strong writer. Please include cover letter and samples when submitting a resume

Experience

  • Minimum two years experience in business or marketing is required
  • Experience developing and managing schedules is required
  • Experience in social, digital and emerging media channels required
  • Expertise in strategic development, creative/content development and production including video, print, radio, still assets, digital content and social content a plus
  • Agency experience a plus
  • CPG experience a plus
  • Experience in Adobe Suite is a plus

Paid Marketing Internship

We are looking for driven and resourceful Marketing and/or Communications majors who have interest in learning, growing and contributing to great work with an awesomely strategic and creative team.

Responsibilities:

  • The right candidate will start with small (probably dull-ish) projects and be rewarded with bigger, more challenging and high-profile (fun?) projects if 1) they want it and 2) they are doing good work.
  • The candidate will work with the sales and account executives to:
    • Assist in delivering website, blog and social media performance analytic reports for our clients
    • Assist in creative development meetings for social media postings, campaign rollouts and brand launches
    • Perform regional retail store checks and produce reports
    • Assist in marketing automation campaigns & lead scoring
    • Assist in web-based lead prospecting for business development
